2007 laff off


Last night was the 2007 Eugene Laffoff. Now I don’t mean to brag, boast and/or toot my own horn but if you put the winner of that competition and me in a Porsche Boxster, there’d still be room for you. If the winner and I were in a mazda miata, we’d have room for a Labradoodle to ride in style! That's right, folks..yours truly is the funniest person in Eugene.

Stand Up Comics Come Together to
Support Their Community

For the twelfth year in a row some of our areas’s funniest people competed in the annual Eugene Laff Off to raise money for Greenhill Humane Society. The event, held on April Fools Day, consisted of performances by twenty stand up comics competing for the title of “Funniest person in Eugene.”

This year’s winner was Maria Qualtere-Burcher who shares her home with several dogs, cats and teenage daughters. Rounding out the top five funniest people were Chris Pender, Juan Knudsen, Aaron Jamison and Janice Hallmark.

Greenhill would like to thank all of this year’s winners, and the many other Laff Off contestants: Rafael Aldave, Cheryl Camelio, Nick Forest, Dan Freed, Deb Frisch, Colin Gray, Ben Grieger, Kayleen Hanna, Chris Hirth, Tracy Mahoney, Dave Morgan, Sat Purka, Cody Smith and Scott Zeppa. Also, thank you to last year’s Funniest Person in Eugene: Kevin Kimble for making us laugh again this year!
